THE CHILDRENS SAFETY VILLAGE
Excerpt From InQuinte - May 27th, 2016
The Belleville Lion’s Club was on hand to present a $10,000 donation towards the Children’s Safety Villages overall fundraising goal.
“We’ve always made a big point of taking care of kids,” said president of Belleville’s Lion’s Club Larry Brown. “We know the village has been having some financial problems recently so we figured what better way to give to the kids than to keep the village open and keep it going.”
Brown said that the decision to donate was an easy one as the community always comes first.
“There’s not a better commodity to invest in than our children and their safety,” he said. “They’re the eyes and ears of the future.”
